Welcome to Northlea
Please accept this welcome that comes to you from the congregation of Northlea United Church. We say, “congregation”, but really we are neighbours, sharing our experience of work and school and play and being part of this community. Barbeques and open houses, street parties and Carolling the Pines – we are together, each of us contributing to the place we call home.
Northlea’s place is one of faith and spirit. We would like you to be part of this adventure of spirit, where we can grow, and grow in heart and soul together. We would like you to be part of Sunday celebrations and the passages of life we honour – birth and death, love and loss, discovery of purpose and of meaning, work and work days done. We share together meal times – out-of-doors and in – days of rally and Remembrance, times of children’s pageants, Christmas Candlelight and Candlelight Communion, New Year’s new beginnings, the Lent of doubt and darkness and the love at Easter’s joy.
Northlea is part of all that we can be – in body and in soul, in friendship, hope and spirit, in community and being wholly human, and we invite you to be part of us, as we are part of you.
